The top two paintings are derived from the mystical Qabalah and are entitled Malkuth, and Yesod, illustrations of the first two Sepiroth. Malkuth is the Earth Kingdom, and is represented by a young maiden crowned, in this case with flowers. It is representative of the material plane. The second painting, Yesod, is the second sepiroth. It represents ascension and rising on the planes. It is the kingdom of dreams, the moon and the sea. It is represented by a naked and powerful grown man.
