Rosiland’s career in illustration, spanning more than two decades, includes working with clients as diverse as Disney, Scholastic, Random House, TravelSmith, Carnation, Golden Books, Kensington Computer Products, Troll Publishing, Galoob Toys, Serendipity Puzzles, and University Games. She has illustrated ten books, countless textbooks, food packages and labels, toys, games,posters, puzzles, all kinds of illustrated educational products, and even a tarot deck and astrology calendar.

Her areas of specialty are nature illustration, science illustration, black & white illustration, juvenile illustration, character design, portraits, food and kitchenware design, and “MetaArt” which is her own style of illustrating Tarot, Astrology, Qabalah, and other magical images using universal sacred icons.

Over the last 8 years, Rosiland has been using her own illustrations and working as a designer as well to create art for both print and web. These designs are for logos and company images, business cards, flyers and brochures, book covers, album cover and package labels, and art on websites.

Rosiland has joined Porterfield's Fine Art Licensing, represented by Lance Klass. her work in this area can be seen in fabric designs, puzzles, stained glass designs, garden flags, art tiles and glass ornaments. (see Art Licensing on Home Page.)

Rosiland has a BA in Sociology and English, and learned airbrushing in Hollywood in 1978, where she survived an  old-fashioned apprenticeship at an all male Movie Poster Art Studio in Hollywood's Crossroads of the World. She still works in airbrushed gouaches, doing a great amount of detail work with pencils, prismacolors, and tiny brushes as well as working in her more recently acquired favorite media of scanning her drawings into Photoshop, and painting with whatever brushes (watercolor, oils, or airbrushed paints) she feels are most appropriate for that design, frequentlycreating results similar to oil or acrylic painting.
